Young People deserve the opportunity to succeed

In 2017 we celebrated our 30th year of providing supported accommodation services for young people in Neath Port Talbot and in line with our Strategic and Business Plan have extended our services to Bridgend. Young people continue to be at the heart of our work, and our staff and stakeholders recognise the importance of quality services to meet presenting needs, adding value and meeting priorities in a challenging economic climate.

Our Board of Trustees meet a minimum of quarterly to oversee governance and strategic planning of the Charity.

We believe that all Young People deserve the opportunity to succeed, and lead safe, fulfilled and independent lives in our community. As an organisation, we listen to, respect and learn from young people. We encourage young people to participate in our quarterly feedback survey’s to inform the quality of provision and support they receive to help shape delivery and future priorities.

We help young people develop their independence skills to enable them to succeed in managing a tenancy and promote a successful move on into sustainable accommodation. This can be anything from registering with a GP, to support to access benefits, keeping their property clean and meal planning on a budget. Our Support Staff have a range of skills and experience, are trauma informed, and tailor their support planning to meet individual needs. Engaging with the local community and accessing local services is a significant part of our work in supporting young people.
