Support Officer

Support Officer - Permanent Contract (35 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dewis team supporting young people across our portfolio of Housing Related Support in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend. 

As a Support Officer, you will directly support young people to enable them to manage their tenancy, promoting independence and tenancy management.  We are looking for a flexible team player with experience in case management and tenancy related support planning, with a passion for working with young people, including those with complex needs. You will be expected to work across all our services and demonstrate a commitment to achieving successful outcomes including transition and move on for the young people we support. You will be approachable, able to prioritise, manage a caseload and work positively with our partners. 

The hours will primarily be during our core office hours, but may include occasional early evening/weekend visits to young people based on their individual needs.

Support Worker

Night Shift Support Worker. 12hours shifts on a 3on/3off rota basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dewis team in our established projects based in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend. We are looking for a flexible team player who demonstrates commitment, a passion for working with young people, including those with complex needs, and achieving successful outcomes.

The Support Worker role involves lone working with young people in our 24-hour staffed services and focuses on developing positive working relationships, promoting the development of independence and tenancy management skills, participation within the service and community engagement. You will be required to comply with and maintain all necessary administrative and recording systems in the agreed format.

Casual Relief Support Workers

Closing date for receipt of applications is midday on Monday 19th July 2021
Interviews will be held on 28th July 2021. 

We are continually seeking to recruit to our bank of Casual Relief Support Workers to provide cover on an ad hoc basis, to work across all schemes delivered by the organisation within both the Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend County Boroughs, working flexibly to fulfil busines need, covering absence for training, annual leave, sickness etc. The role will focus on providing support, guidance and help with independent living skills ensuring young people have a safe and secure environment whilst they are temporarily accommodated in our schemes.
