Young Person’s Support Officer

35 hours per week 
Salary  £21,507 per annum
Permanent Contract

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dewis team supporting young people across our portfolio of Housing Related Support in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.  

As a Support Officer, you will directly support young people to enable them to manage their tenancy, promoting independence and tenancy management.  We are looking for a flexible team player with experience in case management, tenancy related support planning and successful outcomes, with a passion for working with young people, including those presenting with mental health and complex needs. You will be expected to work across all our services and demonstrate a commitment to achieving successful outcomes including transition and move on for the young people we support. You will be approachable, able to prioritise, manage a caseload and work positively with our partners.  

The hours will primarily be during our core office hours, but may include occasional early evening/weekend visits to young people based on their individual needs.

Young Person Outreach Support Worker

Part-time hours: 25 hours per week 
Salary: £12,246 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Dewis team in our established projects based in Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.  We are looking for a flexible team player who demonstrates commitment, a passion for working with young people, including those presenting with mental health and complex needs, and achieving successful outcomes.

The Outreach Support Worker role involves working with young people in our Supported accommodation step-down services and focuses on developing positive working relationships, promoting the development of independence and tenancy management skills, participation within the service and community engagement. You will be required to comply with and maintain all necessary administrative and recording systems in the agreed format.

Salary: £12,589 per annum (plus shift allowance)
